Plein Air Demonstration Charcoal drawing roughed in on toned ground. Begin by laying in the dark passages. Keeping the shapes simplified and not being concerned with any detail at this time. After laying in the darks we then proceed to put in the lights. After having both the darks and the lights mapped out, we can then jump ahead to the middle tones. By having both our lights and darks defined we then have a good gage on how to handle our middle tones. Continue with our middle tones working from our larger shapes on down to smaller more detailed shapes. We continue to work on our middle values as well as paying close attention to our warm and cool colors. Final painting 18" x 24" Evening Laundry - SOLD |
