Plein Air Demonstration Charcoal drawing roughed in on toned ground. ![]() Begin by laying in the dark passages. Keeping the shapes simplified and not being concerned with any detail at this time. ![]() After laying in the darks we then proceed to put in the lights. ![]() After having both the darks and the lights mapped out, we can then jump ahead to the middle tones. By having both our lights and darks defined we then have a good gage on how to handle our middle tones. ![]() Continue with our middle tones working from our larger shapes on down to smaller more detailed shapes. ![]() We continue to work on our middle values as well as paying close attention to our warm and cool colors. ![]() Final painting 18" x 24" Evening Laundry - SOLD ![]() |
