Studio Still Life Demonstration

Charcoal drawing roughed in on toned ground. Lightest light placed along with major dark areas being massed in.

Massing in big shapes and laying in light and shadow passages. Keeping the shapes simple and not being concerned with any real detail at this time.

Starting to add and develope the local block ins by giving more play of warm and cool colors.

Still building on the local colors and continue to emphasize the light source.

Now all of the canvas is covered and there is some time spent going back into areas that need a little more refining and definition.
