Student Testimonials The personal instruction time was way beyond sufficient. I felt it was generous and tailored to my needs and level. This was a high point for me and I am so grateful! Yes, without question. Ken is a gifted teacher, and a master at critique, which I don't say lightly. Suggestions are thoughtfully and respectfully offered, honestly and gently. Ken, I really Ioved this experience. The unrateable part of this eval has to do with you. Your genuine interest and kindness is the secret sauce that makes your teaching all come together and work so well! Thanks so much ! I thought the painting locations were spectacular. I liked that the types of locations were varied and having access to private properties allowed us to have many choices of scenes without having to deal with cars and people. I really felt I got a lot out of the class and was able to incorporate some of your suggestions into a few of the paintings I completed during the workshop. That is not easy to do. Really great week. Ken is extremely knowledgeable, giving of his time and knowledge. Very approachable and sincere in wanting to help his students. One of the best workshops I’ve taken. His work is an inspiration!
He is able to help you understand and figure out what you need to do to a painting and in the most instructional way. His advice on design of a painting is some of the best I have ever had in a workshop at my easel. Denise Rose Click on this link to read a blog by Denise Rose about a Workshop she attended in Memphis
